Lodging Directory Contains Large Database of Vacation Rentals
MIAMI, Jan. 25, 2007 – Web surfers who browse for winter accommodations at ski resorts and warm weather destinations online can save time and money by using Rentalo.com, the lodging directory and marketplace that contains one of the largest online databases of vacation rentals, hotels and bed & breakfasts. Rentalo helps travelers and vacationers find the perfect lodging for their travel and helps property owners and managers find bookings.
Ski resorts in the U.S. and Canada and warm weather getaways in Florida and Arizona are among the winter choices on Rentalo.com. Skiers will find weekly rentals for one- and two-bedroom condominiums in Keystone, Colorado, on Rentalo.com for February and March. Keystone offers both downhill and Nordic skiing and Rentalo’s ski condos are within walking distance of the lifts as well as of restaurants, shopping and evening entertainment. Weekly rentals for attractively furnished two-bedroom, two-bath apartments that sleep six, with fully equipped kitchens and gas fireplaces in cozy living rooms are $1,400 through Feb. 13 and $2,000 through March. For a six-night stay for six, the nightly rates start at $233.
For something different in Whistler in the Canadian Rockies, Rentalo lists a penthouse townhouse with two bedrooms and two baths. The 1,002 sq. ft. luxury vacation rental sleeps up to six and children are welcome. The newly renovated townhouse is in a quiet residential area and has a pedestrian trail system making it a short walk to restaurants, ships and Whistler’s nightlife. Nightly rates through March 31 are $348 for a five-night minimum stay. The rate drops to $218 per night after April 1.
Rentalo’s online directory lists more than 100,000 published properties in close to 15,000 destinations worldwide. Rentalo’s web site shows details and photos of each property plus maps and other helpful features. Each Rentalo listing includes a telephone contact number, e-mail address and request to call back.
By taking advantage of Rentalo’s “quick search” feature, ski and sun getaway planners get multiple vacation rental offers fast saving them lots of time in searching for the rental that suits their criteria and budget. Rentalo matches properties with the inquirer’s criteria: destinations, type of rentals, dates and price and notifies them in a matter of hours of the matches and the Internet search that is underway. Rentalo maintains user privacy by using “virtual” e-mails when sending out a general query for registered users.
Site maps powered by Google allow browsers to pinpoint the location of vacation rentals at Keystone and other ski resorts with pop-ups showing a photo and brief description of the rental accommodation.
Travel agents and meeting planners can use Rentalo’s 'quick search" to survey the large inventory of lodgings to find and book accommodations for their clients. The rental properties on Rentalo.com offer commissions to agents of 5% to 20%. The online site also has an affiliates’ "publisher'' link program that gives agents and other businesses additional revenue-earning opportunities.
