Here are some details that can make your vacation rental stand out above others:

Be at your rental property when your guests arrive. Help with the luggage and guide them around your place.

Greet them, knowing the names of the family members.

Be sure that all appliances that you offer are in good working order. e.g.. coffee maker,BBQ,TV,DVD,VCR,air conditioning etc.

Offer as much as you can to keep their packing of the car to a minimum. Such as pillows,bedding,and towels

Keep your rental clean and safe inside and outside.

Be sure to have an itinerary of any special events happening in you area that your guest may like to take part in.

Provide guests with restaurant recommendations, maps and transportation information.

Think about the rainy days. Make sure you have board games, puzzles and DVD movies available. Let your guests know about those.

When people watch movies, they love having snacks. Leave a bag of microwave popcorn in the kitchen.

Take care of the little details in your house. Put aromatic candles around so that your house always smells nice. Buy little bucket of flowers to place on a living room table or in the bedroom.

If you are a ski property, offer your guests free mug of hot chocolate or an aromatic flavored tea with an energizing candy bar.

If you are located near the beach, supply your kitchen with soft drinks and small snacks.

Make sure your kitchen has all needed condiments and spices. Do not limit to salt and pepper, travelers may like to cook more sophisticated dishes at times.
