Rentalo Offers Free Inquiry Service, Email Privacy, Quick Access to Nearly 100,000 Houses, Hotels, Apartments, Villas and B&B’s
MIAMI, FL – The latest feature on Rentalo.com, one of the fastest-growing
internet directories for vacation rental properties worldwide, is a selection
option that allows travelers to search by price, size and name. Rentalo.com
provides quick access to close to 100,000 rental houses, villas, apartments,
hotels, bed and breakfast establishments in 15,000 locations in the U.S. and
around the world.
A second new feature is a filter option, which allows searchers to select by
type of property – vacation rentals (homes, villas, apartments), B&B’s
and hotels. Additional search options include amenities, pet-friendly, attractions,
sports, special needs, etc. In addition, Rentalo.com just introduced an “Email
Privacy” option, which travelers can use when looking for rentals in the
U.S. and abroad. With this privacy option, Rentalo encourages more travelers
to make their inquiries through Rentalo by offering to keep the traveler’s
email addresses private.
Rentalo.com, in conjunction with private-emails.com, developed the email privacy
option for travelers who feel uneasy about disclosing personal email addresses
online for fear of Spam. Search engine statistics show that less than 10 percent
of travelers who research online feel comfortable about disclosing their personal
email addresses because of the potential for Spam.
In the extensive Rentalo inventory, travelers can search for vacation rental
properties in all price ranges from budget to luxury in cities and resorts worldwide
– in the U.S., the Caribbean, Central and South America, Europe, the Middle
East, Africa, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
Once the traveler selects the rental or rentals of interest, he or she can email
the owner or manager directly and get a quick confirmation of their booking
request. Descriptions of two properties available for booking through Rentalo.com
in the U.S. and abroad are: Villa Chez Nous in New Orleans. A five-room “villa,”
a Creole cottage of the 1800s, has 14-foot ceilings, hardwood floors, faux fireplaces,
2 bedrooms with queen beds, living/dining combination with a queen sofa. Three
blocks from the French Quarter in Faubourg Marigny, the bohemian extension of
The French Quarter. Added special: Arrange for a horse-driven carriage to pick
you up from the front steps… Rates nightly are $85-$100. In the ancient
castle of Marchesi Peruzz in Tuscany is a two bedroom, two bath villa or B&B.
Breakfast - fruit juice, ham and eggs, home made marmalades and Tuscan cheese
- is served in the tower salon set off by Gothic arches. In the afternoon, aperitifs
are served in the shadow park and guests can enjoy a swim in the villa’s
pool. Villa Peruzzi is just l5 minutes by car from Florence, the Chianti valley
and its vineyards and close by are the towns of Siena, Pisa and San Gemignano.
For guests who stay a week, the villa offers an afternoon of free wine and food
tasting in the noble Castello di Sonnino. The owners will also happily organize
an afternoon of cooking courses followed by dinner. Nightly rates are $60.
But if travelers prefer, Rentalo.com will do the research for them. The traveler
submits the criteria – destination, type of rental, dates and price range
– and replies will start arriving shortly thereafter. Rentalo’s
fully automated “free inquiry” service is a unique option from the
web site that provides an efficient way to find the right rental property. The
property locator service first selects the properties that match the inquirer’s
criteria and then notifies the traveler of the match and of the instant search
that is underway.
To complement its property locater service, Rentalo just introduced its email
privacy option working with private-emails.com. Rentalo developed a solution
to keeping email addresses private and eliminating any chance of Spam. Rentalo
created the “virtual” email address when an inquiry is submitted
for a destination. The traveler enters his or her “real” email address
(for example: name@ domain.com) and a note to “make email address private.”
Rentalo creates the “virtual” email address. This virtual address
is sent to Rentalo’s subscribers (the owners of the vacation properties,
hotels, apartments, B&Bs, etc.)
The offers are sent from the property owners to the “virtual” email
address. Rentalo immediately forwards these email responses to the “real”
email address. This is an instant relay email service that works automatically
without any human intervention. Rentalo also monitors the service 24/7 to make
sure it works constantly without delay.
The traveler finds the property he wants and makes a reservation. Then, the
traveler clicks on the link to “stop” sending offers and Rentalo
deactivates the traveler’s “virtual” email and stops the forwarding
of all email to the “real” email address.
In just a few years, Rentalo.com has become the leading internet site for vacation
rentals.
It is now approaching four million page views per month. Travel agents also
use Rentalo.com to find and book properties for their clients.
