Rentalo´s analysis shows 69.7 percent of the travelers inquiring for Puerto Vallarta accommodations showed an interest in comparing offers from other accommodation types like hotels and bed and breakfasts in Puerto Vallarta.
In accordance with early vacation planning in a premiere demanded vacation destination, 58.6 percent of those looking for Puerto Vallarta accommodations sent inquiries three or more months in advance of their stay. Some 19.4 percent of travelers inquiring in this destination were looking for lodgings one to two months in advance, while 20.2 percent of vacationers were placing inquiries within 30 days prior to the arrival date. The top vacation spot is also a destination for all kinds of travelers alike with an emphasis on couples. Approximately 27 percent of the inquiries received through Rentalo were for four or more people looking for a group accommodation or vacation rental in Puerto Vallarta. On the other hand, 19.8 percent of the inquiries were families with children. Interestingly, Puerto Vallarta stands out as a preferred romantic destination as 42.5 percent of the inquiries received were placed for couples.

The beautiful port of Acapulco and the Rosarito area is populated with different lodging alternatives that visiting travelers want to evaluate and compare. Rentalo´s studies show 75% percent of the travelers inquiring for Acapulco lodgings showed an interest in comparing offers from other accommodation types like hotels and bed and breakfasts in Rosarito and Acapulco.
As far as early vacation planning, 45.6 percent of those looking for Acapulco accommodations sent inquiries three or more months in advance of their stay. Approximately 21.5 percent of travelers inquiring in this destination were looking for lodgings one to two months in advance, while 29.6 percent of vacationers were placing inquiries within 30 days prior to the arrival date. It is worth noting that this trend is completely opposite when it comes to finding lodging in Rosarito. The inquiry demand data demonstrates 60% of the travelers arriving to Rosarito are placing requests only one month prior to arrival. This suggests visitors first inquire on Acapulco accommodations and on a second-step alternative, consider staying at Rosarito lodgings.
The Acapulco and Rosarito area is also a destination for all kinds of travelers. Around 49.8 percent of inquiries were for four or more people looking for a group accommodation in Mexico. On the other hand, 29.1 percent of the inquiries were families with children and 30 percent of the interested travelers were couples. Once again, the Mexican pacific coast proves to be a favorite spot for family travel.

On the northern portion of the Mexican pacific coast lies Cabo San Lucas. Rentalo´s analysis shows 64.9 percent of the travelers inquiring for Cabo vacation rentals showed an interest in comparing offers from other accommodation types like bed and breakfasts and hotels in Cabo San Lucas.
When it comes to early vacation planning, 53.8 percent of those looking for Cabo San Lucas accommodations sent inquiries three or more months in advance of their stay. This proves there is a high demand for this destination and travelers want to book in advance. Rentalo´s data is conclusive at this point when it shows 23.4 percent of travelers inquiring in this destination were looking for lodgings one to two months in advance, and only a mere 15 percent of vacationers were placing inquiries within 30 days prior to the arrival date.
Cabo San Lucas is definitely a romantic getaway for couples as inferred by a 43.5 percent of the inquiries placed for the destination.  Nevertheless, families with children and groups of 4 people or more each show a 28 percent share in the party size.
