Rentalo´s data analysis shows 71.45 percent of the travelers inquiring for Cancun vacation rentals showed an interest in comparing offers from other accommodation types like hotels and bed and breakfasts in Cancun.
In accordance with early vacation planning in a much demanded vacation destination, 45.9 percent of those looking for accommodations in Cancun sent inquiries three or more months in advance of their stay. Some 28.3 percent of travelers inquiring in this destination were looking for lodgings one to two months in advance, while 22.5 percent of vacationers were placing inquiries within 30 days prior to the arrival date. The beautiful island of Cozumel, off the eastern coast of Mexico's Yucatán Peninsula, is a popular tourist destination. Also, about 30 percent of the interested travelers were couples and close to 12 percent were people traveling by themselves.
