Customer Service / Sales Representative

Rentalo.com is seeking for experienced telephone sales professionals to help company's growth by selling subscriptions to prospect clients. Candidates must meet the following qualification requirements and expectations:
- Proficient at interacting with potential clients over phone, email, and chat.
- Meet and exceed set quotas on the number of contacts/sales per day.
- Meet and exceed set quotas on number of new subscriptions sold per day, week, and monthly.
- Support pre and post-ordering processes and internal coordination with other departments.
- Provide daily, weekly, monthly reporting to management of all calling and sales activities.
- Support the implementation of new strategies, technologies, and ways of improving the business.
Experience / Qualification Requirements (including but not limited to):
- Proficient at closing sales via phone with proven track record (e.g. experience in telephone sales and/or telemarketing).
- 100% English proficiency: reading, writing, and conversational. Ability to speak other languages is a plus!
- Practical knowledge on Internet browsing and business applications such as Microsoft Office (word, outlook, excel, etc).

- Must be self disciplined, self-motivated, and able to perform well with little supervision.

Job Description:
The ideal candidate shall collaborate with business, engineering and other internal staff to define and build user-centered, web-based applications. This person will be responsible for the following:
- Develop Internet applications using Unix-based technologies and tools, including XHTML, JavaScript, CSS and Perl coding interacting with MySQL databases, XML sources, RSS sources, and others.
- Develop applications that are SEO friendly, while enhancing the overall visitors' experience, and maintaining optimum site/server performance.
- Ability to work 70% of the time (approx. 125 hours / month) on coding assigned development tasks.
- Consistently meet project deadlines and estimated timeframes on assigned development tasks.
- Make use of UML tools to document use cases and User Acceptance tests.
Experience / Qualification Requirements (including but not limited to):
- 3+ years experience in programming and development of Internet applications with Unix-based technologies and tools, including XHTML, JavaScript, CSS and Perl coding interacting with MySQL databases, XML sources, RSS sources, and others.
- 3+ years experience in user interface design and usability methodologies including knowledge of Unified Modeling Language (UML).
- Experience in Object Oriented Programming (OOP) (Highly desirable).
- Good reading and writing English skills (Required).
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, highly dynamic, rapidly growing environment, and able to control and measure your own performance.

- As a copywriter, writing and publishing fresh content daily (preferably in the travel industry).
- As a public relations person, writing and publishing press releases online/offline and communicating with editors of major travel publications and media.
- As a blogger, writing short effective articles an posting them on travel related blogs.
- Using effective SEO techniques (including knowledge of published guidelines and best practices by main SEs) to maximize placement on organic search results.

Job Description:
This person will be responsible for the following:
- Able to write and publish 3 to 5 articles and/or press releases per day on a wide variety of travel related topics.
- Responsible for post and/or distribution of articles and PRs to key travel related publications, local directories, PR distributions, blogs and others.
- Massively communicate with editors of several travel related media publications (news, magazines, TV, radio, etc) to achieve maximum editorial exposure for Rentalo.com in the travel lodging and vacation rental industry.
- Manage website linking campaigns by increasing the number of inbound and exchange links, communicating with affiliates and partner websites, and monitoring campaigns.
- Able to generate content with external links that includes industry keywords and phrases to improve and maintain search engine placement.
- Work with internal SEO resources to improve copywriting on existing site pages (directory pages, property pages, etc).
- Work with existing clients and/or CS internal resources to improve quality of content (accuracy of description, pictures, etc), make property listing(s) editorial suggestions, and recommend up-sell products and/or services.
Experience / Qualification Requirements (including but not limited to):
- Excellent written and oral communication skills (Able to type at least 60 words per minute).
- Proven success in copy writing and publishing articles on the web.
- Develop effective SEO copywriting techniques to maximize impact in organic search results.
- Able to focus writing on online conversions, while producing results in our branding efforts.
